Next-Up  “Winter Escapes”...Open February 14th  till March 4th...there is allot to interpretation in that title, an all members show, so use your imagination...

   We are hoping this title will allow enough scope in interpretation to inspire all our members. Although our first thoughts about “winter escape” may be to go south to warmer places, a “winter escape” could mean escaping into winter as well as escaping from it. After all, many people eagerly embrace the opportunity to ski, snowboard, snowmobile etc. Children escape outdoors to frolic in the snow, build snow forts, make angels or have snowball fights. The less athletically inclined may relish curling up by a cozy fire with a good book – or a good friend! The gardeners among us may peruse seed catalogues, planning a perfect summer garden. Others may go shopping, or just hang out with friends. So, fire up your paintbrushes, forget how cold it is outside, and have fun creating your representation of a “winter escape”.
