| Roberta was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1923. Her
mother, an accomplished artists in her own right, would take Roberta on
painting trips to Provincetown. Mass. It was through this influence and
exposure to painting that Roberta was able to develop her ability see and
record what she saw in her chosen medium, watercolour. Today, her landscapes
are inspired by the changing seasons and topography of Canada.
Roberta taught Art at Peterborough's Kenner Collegiate Institute for
twenty three years. An Honour Graduate of the Ontario College of Art, Roberta
actively participates in classes, workshops, field trips in the Kawartha's,
studio tours and art galleries. |
