| "I started painting about ten years ago, but was not
serious until I retired. I realized that I had a lot to learn so I started
taking courses. Haliburton School of Fine Arts was my best source. Drawing, composition
and perspective were classes that I took. I traveled to Grand Manan Island
NB and spent a week creating pastel pictures. I work in two mediums, acrylic
and pastel." "My main subjects are landscapes and marine scenes. Lighthouses being
my real love."
