| Jo-Anne has painted in watercolour for about
15 years; and has been involved in throwing original pottery pieces for 10 years. She enjoys her own
studio with potters wheel and kiln.
Jo-Anne and her husband Richard have created the
Northey's Barn Boutique a unique art gallery were they host two
shows a year. One the first week of May and the other the third week
in September. It all takes place on their beautiful farm between
Peterborough and Buckhorn on the 13th Line of Smith Township. Email

Since it's inception, Jo-Anne has been an active member of
the Kawartha Artists Gallery and Studio, serving on the Executive Board for
many years.
Other groups that Jo-Anne enjoys being part of are The Buckhorn Art Group
and East Central Ontario Art Association.
Jo-Anne says, she enjoys painting mainly in watercolour and
throwing pots. It's relaxing, fun and there is always more to learn.
