Born in rural Quebec in 1947, Lucie Lemieux-Wilson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from l'Universite de Montreal before taking art classes at l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Montreal. After moving to Peterborough with her husband and young family, she pursued her interest in art, especially through classes at Sir Sandford Fleming College. She frequently can be found at workshops by well-known artists such as Lila Lewis Irving, Jacques Hebert and Brian Smith and has participated  in numerous juried exhibitions including the annual Autumn Art Sale at McMichael Gallery in Kleinberg and the Art Rental and Sales Program at the Art Gallery of Peterborough.  She has exhibited at the Galerie Michel Ange in Montreal and has an ongoing corporate exhibition at the Central East Community Care Access Centre in Peterborough. Her home and studio are in Indian River, Ontario
