Mia Gladstone... November 3, 2007                               ....a true Renaissance Woman! Jocelyn Cooper Writes
Although she was taken from us at too young an age, anyone who knew her says she lived a full life. This is because in addition to being a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher and faithful friend, she pursued personal interests with  uncommon zeal.

Among her many activities, she adored art, writing, music, travel,  and people. There wasn't a lecture she wouldn't attend, and everyone was always welcome in her home. She  encouraged her friends to express their individuality to the fullest - a true mentor!

Mia had the courage to fulfill some of life's dreams that most others would consider but reject. A highlight in  this respect was the year she spent with her then-young children in Israel - the country where she was born.

Mia will be missed.!

Ellee Sturgeon Remembers.....

Jeff Currey remembers Eleanor as being kind and making him feel welcome." "I know her as a poetry buff and independent lady in the "Chase of Fame"!" VGH

Therese Harman-As on of the founding members of the Outdoor Painters, Therese's zest for life was evident in everything she did. Painting on location, the subjects that she loved in nature. She had a flare with gathering and encouraging her fellow artists to get out and paint. A great hostess. Therese opened up her house and her heart to her artists friends many times over and to coffee/tea parties and paint-outs to pot luck with homemade bread and china...thanks Therese..VGH
