Interested in Reading, gardening, painting. When first attending university, Rose enrolled in English literature, switching to Fine Art Studio and Fine Art History , majoring in fine art studio.

Born in Cape Breton Island , Nova Scotia, Rose spent most of her adult life working in Toronto but has resided permanently in Asphodel-Norwood for the past twelve years.

Her art interests are quite broad extending from Collages, Ink Compositions, Oil and Acrylics and abstract art for which she has a particular fondness.  Rose’s approach to painting is to convey the image and mood with as few brush strokes as possible aiming for a painterly impression.

Living in a rural setting, Roses ‘paintings are naturally influenced by her garden and the landscape surrounding her home.
