Sabine Scanlon I consider myself as a multi-media artist, working in fabrics; embellishing with beads, silks, fabric painting and whatever the piece needs. I also work in pastel and watercolour. My earliest drawings were of people and flowers; and as you can see, I haven’t strayed too far from those subjects although the categories have broadened in each. I think of my work as colourful and a bit whimsical. My home and studio is in Omemee, which I share with my husband Peter and three affectionate cats.
