Vera "Gail" Hawkins
Gail likes to draw in graphite, conte'
and pen& ink from the real thing and photos that she has taken herself. There
are many places near and far from her home in Peterborough Ontario, where she
goes to gather her images. Although the drawings she makes are detailed and
true, her paintings are born of intuition and freedom of style. Gail enjoys new
media but claims her life long passion in the pencil, relishing in the
development of negative shapes.
Commissions welcome for....Pen and ink or watercolour, from photos of your
home, cottage or pets. Portraits on canvas in acrylic. Prices for these services
are based on the individual project.
Gail has an art class on Thursday evening at KAGS..6.30 till 9.30 no
registration, just turn up and paint. Please bring what you have and the
subject of your choice. Your questions are answered and your challenges met,
with "Art with Gail"
